Goodwill Industries of Tenneva Area, Inc. was established in 1972 in Scott County, Virginia by Mrs. Anita Steiner. In 1994 we moved into a new facility in Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee. Today, we service 17 counties and 2 cities in the territory of Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
Our mission is to provide employment services to those in need. We achieve this mission through a core set of values that address our commitment to being good stewards of our communities. We truly value people and strive to put the good in Goodwill. Our vision is a region where people can successfully gain employment regardless of any barrier that might stand in the way.
